Barbary or Atlas lions

I´ve came across some very interesting information regarding barbary lions size! Hassan el wazzan mentioned in his book,in the 16 Th century that the lions of Morocco are two types, those that lived in the plains close to the ocean and the ones that lived in the mountains! The ones that lived in the plains were more robust and fierce while the mountain lions were shy and not the same size. Reply
