Many duos have been extremely successful, more than many bigger coalitions, especially duos that become dominant early on.

If they are strong enough they can always find a place to become dominant.

As we can see RN son is still noticeably bigger than Chelas boy. It’s kinda both a blessing and shame they’ve become successful already, they won’t expand the coalition while they have their own pride which isn’t great given the competition around them, but it’s obviously much better than nothing, and we have seen quite a few strong duos go a crazy long way in furthering their bloodline.

No wonder his younger hal-brother is so big, he might have predisposition for it from both parents.

The third Nkuhuma brother dissappered for good? What is his status, lost in Kruger (possibly no longer around)?

Very likely dead, he disappeared just after all 3 of them were being seen with the old Mantimahle lioness. Always a chance he willingly left being by far the least dominant member, but I very much doubt it.

Video of the above photo interaction, @kimberlyreittinger on ig is claiming they could be with some fourways females, one seen in the video, I think it’s more likely these are also Mantimahle breakaway tho.

Do these guys have a coalition or individual names? I love how both have their own unique look! Very happy they Made a territory for themselves and have lionesses and cubs.

They dont have individual names. Their coalition name is Nkuhuma due to their natal pride.
People tend to refer to them using their mothers (Chela and Ridge Nose) but atp they are pratically pride males with cubs of their own, way more than X lioness son, even thought so far it has been enough to refer to them easily.

And yes you are absolutely correct, both of them are unique looking specimens, very distinct from each other too. The names dark mane and blonde etc could be appropriate but those r very saturated... Thats cause its common & easy way of ID tbh.

There are countless lions named after their fathers so I like that these 2 are known for their mothers, it shows how iconic they were.

Wow. These guys are definitely Avocas. They look so much like Mohawk and Blondie. Glad to see them doing so well.
