Agreed, I just think he’s looking rough because he’s not having frequent meals and due to his age, his muscle mass is deteriorating much quicker than it ever has. No doubt in my mind with regular meals he can still look in very good condition but as long as he’s with the BDM, I don’t see such a thing happening.
This is actually a reason I’m quite happy Khanya is with Nkuhuma Male while we on this topic. I think we all know Nkuhuma Male is not a reliable partner in the slightest, but one thing he does exceptionally well at, is stay in great shape. Tough cards are being dealt right now for Khanya to become a dominant pride male, so he can only stay developing and biding his time, Nkuhuma Male can help with that for the time being.
Go Khanya and Nym!! Both a great hunters and I’ve been wanting to see Khanya and Nym hunt together. What powerful boys in running down that bull!! Hopefully there’s more videos soon.
If there’s a lion that can deal with Nym its Khanya. I don’t think he will be susceptible if Nym runs. Khanya is a great survivor and I really really hope this hunting helps bond Nym and Khanya and Nym supports his new partner.
I don’t think Nym has really hunted with his other partner/friends before?
Note: I’m not saying Nym is “bad” for running, it’s just a different survival strategy. I’d rather he back up his partners vs running BUT I’m not the one living wild in the bush.

He would have hunted with pretty much all of them but a lot of it just wouldn’t have been seen. The one that comes to mind straight away was him with both Dzwihala and Khanya, they stayed with each other from Inyati thru to Savanna and then down into Sabi Sabi. They weren’t necessarily seen making kills but were seen in very good condition clearly from the kills they had made and followed the buffalo the entire route.
It’s actually ironic Nkuhuma Male is now with Khanya as I remember saying how he was much much closer to Dzwihala. Even when they were both around the Styx Pride recently, they didn’t stay together but now they joined up in Londolozi and go straight to hunting buffalo in Sabi Sabi. Crazy how that works.

Always wonder what would've happened if nym thought long term and stayed with the boys instead of their sisters.
