Uma looking skinny, he's focused more on mating than eating at the moment.

I thought the 2nd one was Bajrang, his body reminded me of Bajrang but his head was more Bheema like, I figured it was Bajrang just because Bheema been gone for so long and I haven't seen any new footage of him and this video was new to me. Reply

Uma is a busy cat atm... has almost the whole Mukki to himself now that has chased Chota Munna into Kisli. Very tough individual for sure. Bheema, KF and CM killed or pushed out by him. Reply

I'm sure CM will be back in Mukki at some point and Umarpani will leave at some point, Kisli and Mukki are right next to one another, they both come in and out of Mukki, especially Uma. CM also has a knack for coming back for another try even after suffering defeat.
But it's not necessarily a bad thing for CM to stay in Kisli, you most likely will be starting at the Kisli Gate and you may have some good sightings of him just driving through heading to another zone which would be a nice bonus since you have to drive through Kisli to go to any other zone anyway.

Do you know when he was last pushed out?

DANGER IN TIGER PARADISE..


It's been a while since I last saw Spotty and her Cubs.This Sunday we were searching for her and Cubs after scanning the whole area and with no signs of her nearby.We were waiting at Jhumri area after around 10 mins we heard chittal alarm call followed by strong alarm calls of Langur monkey.As my elephant was booked at the same time I got up on the the elephant and we started searched for Spotty as we reached Patphara Nallah our mahaout saw a Tiger drinking water as the vegetation was quite dense we were unable to recognize the tiger but after clicking some shots of the same fellow and confirming the identity of the same tiger by my friendBandhavgarh Sunil Neeraj Thakur we came to know that it was the Male tiger from Chakardhara Female Last litter and the seeing that tiger in Spotty territory was like a new danger to her and her Cubs.With no signs of dominating Male mangu,Spotty faces a new challenge protecting her offsprings from the males that are trying to establish themselves in the area..

@Pckts He is still in Mukki, but pushed right to border with Kisli and has been seen a lot in Kisli. That is the info I have gotten at least. And I know Umarpani has been seen a lot in what used to be CM’s territory. 
But who knows what might happen, wierd that a soon to be 10 year old male tiger still expands his territory? Facinating animals for sure! Reply

I got to watch that video of him again and he really is a big cat, he always impresses. I'm just not used to seeing him that lean but he still looked great. Reply

Yes he is a very impressive cat with a very big head. I feel by looking at videos that Kanha tigresses really stands out in Central India, compared to what those Tadoba tigresses look like, these girls can probably be twice the weight of a smaller, yet adult tigress from Tadoba. That is quite incredible. Reply

The female with him whom i believe is choti mada looks big as well and link 8 was the largest wild female cat I've seen. I still think Bandhavgarh has the more robust Tigress' but they look smaller in frame so who knows for sure. Reply

Yes I was actually going to mention Bandhavgarh tigresses. They looks as you say more robust, but Kanha tigresses looks longer and has bigger shoulders from my point of view. 
She looks good even compared with a giant 250+kg male tiger, who was said to me today that looked to have 1,5 times as big a head as the largest tiger Ranthambore male tiger. So they must be very big.
