Now he takes his younger partner. Frustrating hopefully Nzuri appears. Heart breaking if he is gone. 
2 Monwana young males seemingly on their way back to Timbavati, hopefully to rejoin their brothers
"28/2/25 - Our day started off with these two young male brothers, they were poised on the eastern bank scanning west towards the private reserves such as Timbavati, they would want to challenge any Males that have an established pride of lionesses, day followed on to have many more cool sightings from various species however these boys stole the show! That might be him, I wish the pic of the unknown male was a little clearer, but it sure looks to be him. However, if that is him, he may have just set a record for the time required to lose one's mane due to stress. I am not sure I have seen any happen more quickly than that. Then again, it could also be attributed to the graininess of that photo, as well, and not be as severe as it appears. Keep in mind those things can happen pretty quickly, just a year ago around March some of the Nkuhlus lost their manes all of a sudden, being territorial males (ofc their disease). Just saw an update of Mandevu in Twitter!!!
You can watch here at FB as seems like they upload first in FB then Youtube.
Seems like the Mbiri Males would start to eat him as looking at his injury in his belly as it resembles on what they did to the Guernsey Male. Seems like 1 male got a hold of him in the head while the other male started to bite him in his belly and hind legs, but still really hoping for him to pull through this injuries he have gotten.

This is much worse than I expected, but I believe he was caught alone, Mbiris would possibly have more signs of a fight if Nzuri was close to being killed, Mandevu is now lucky enough to find some carcass to maintain his energy

Unfortunatley i said i fear that this Mandevu/Nzuri pairing might end up similary how Guernsey/Avoca did.
On 1 end you have prime, fearless and ambitious male, on other young male who is inexperienced and not ready yet for these conflicts against adult males. And usually, older and stronger male gets the worse end as he doesnt have back up he expects to have, and he ends up in 1vs2.
