There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

I believe he is dominant over some pride in that area in h1-1, he was seen in the company of a lioness, I have no information on his mohawk brother, the sighting a while ago he was alive and well so I assume he is still alive, this is a very strange area

It's interesting that we get to see Maputo, but very rarely is his partner ever photographed.  It would be nice to see the both of them as they are a duo over a pride now, and hopefully with cubs soon on the way.

One of these lions has a long belly fold, like an asiatic one. Interesting to see them walking and resting on the border of a water point.

"20 juil. 2024
The Kumana Lion Pride, once a formidable force in the savannas of the Kumana Dam, was known for its strength and dominance under the leadership of the mighty lion, Mluwati. His reign was characterized by strategic prowess and the formidable alliance he had built with his five sons. However, the peace and stability of the pride were disrupted when the Fourways males, a coalition of strong and ambitious lions, launched a fierce takeover. The upheaval forced Mluwati and his sons into exile, leaving behind their cherished territory.
Mluwati, despite his age, remained a symbol of resilience and wisdom. His five sons, each unique in their own right, were a testament to his legacy. Together, they faced the challenges of survival in exile, but the call of their ancestral home at the Kumana Dam never faded from their hearts. "
