There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

I remember seeing a video of (i think) it was young Nsuku and Scapper ganging up on the last Selati. Was this in Timbivadi or where was this?

This happened in northern Sabi Sand iirc, and they did absolutely no damage. He quickly made his escape.
Btw this video of BBoys mauling Selati #1 is from the end of 2014, the Selatis chased the BBoys at the beginning of 2015, so it looks like the tables turned and the Selatis successfully defended Talamati pride

Let me know if i am wrong but their partner (Southern male, son of Fourways) was last seen on his own with some wounds on his back.
I hope the Talamati Boys are out there in some remote area and someday they will appear, just like the Mangheni male and the sons of Charleston recently. But that seems unlikely

Wait the BBoys mauled a Selati male back then? Is it a different video then the one of the 2 young BBoys we are talking about?

Rangers Report February 2013 - Leopard Hills Private Game Reserve

"Even the above male (#4) with the smallest mane is darkening noticeably as they enter their prime! This male is the biggest of the 4 and seems to be the most dominant for much of the time!"

"They have been vocalising a lot this month and all 4 have been together, rather than off on their own. See video of one of the boys letting a rhino and calf know who is in charge, there are no better protectors for our Rhino’s than the Selati boys."

3/4 Selati males at Leopard Hills back in February 2013, just before going to their casual hunting patrols
