Judging from his size, he's probably around 1-1.5 years old in this photo, it's probably safe to assume that he is 3.5-4 years old at the moment. So relatively speaking, he is still a youngster, looks like he'll only be growing more bold in the years to come. Between him, Link 7 and KF, you have 3 males that are just hitting their primes, should be interesting in the near future. I'm not sure how long all 4 of the ruling boys will be able to share Mukki though, these boys are only going to need more and more space.

Naren said bheema is "taller" while Uma has the "largest head of all the mukki males"  and Sahil said bheema has a "heavy body"  and says uma has a "larger head and limbs."
It could be like splitting hairs between the two of them, even kingfisher and uma when they fought were close in size, kingfisher did look larger though and most say that kingfisher is just a dense, robust and even "fat" tiger.
Much like how some used to describe Wagdoh.

Either way, mukki is like the wild west of tiger land.... 4 males sharing a small territory, but I do notice that the females there seem to have a tough time protecting cubs which is why they mate with multiple males so often. I wonder what makes mukki so desirable?

Edit: To be fair, bheema is a bit closer to the camera than Uma, both are close in size, that's for sure.

A little more info on the size of Bheema compared to Uma

unfortunately they both gt vanished surprisingly..

Sahil AK "Minh between uma and bheema. except the facial size I found bheema bigger in any manner ... bt still many says uma is huge male of mukki range. even sometimes I felt so, but just sometimes while comparing in photos. but practically I always found bheema little more in size and shape,.."

Looks like Bheema is larger than uma, at least according to Sahil, I also thought so judging off of their video together, but it's nice to get a little clarification from someone who sees them often.

But don't think that Uma isn't a large boy in his own right, especially when discussing his head/neck size.

Thin Stripe male.. came from Pench in 2010 , killed Chain male and took over Minkur. He mocked the kanha breed for 4 years, showing the power of the Pench's Charger's line. And then Uma male showed him the power of Munna's lineage and took him out, a very fitting ending for TS.. Then he fought with kankata in june 2013 but kk also defeated him.
2013 was his last season . but he was surely good looking & huge tiger.
Minh Ha plz update some more info about him if u have.
sorry for pic quality

Kankata ( in front ) and Thin Stripe. (second )
Kankata is known as one of the most Dominating male of Kanha. we used to called him Fighter mostly . Coz he was always ready to fight with other tigers. 2015 Was his last season. Gt vanished in air. Nobody knows where he gone. There are many if and but I heard but dont have proper evidence. Its Still a mystery for me.

But I spoke with @sahil ak about some tigers and other information, here is what he had to say

I asked about bheema's size, kfs size and kahna tigers in general
Sahil Ak said:
"now days bheema is one of the most dominating tiger in kanha's mukki range. now he is 5 yrs old. he was weighted 260 kg when he was just 2 years. and still he is gaining . he is son of kankata who was also the one of the great tiger kanha ever hd. there are few more male like umarpani male and link 7 male. they both are Munna's littrs one of the biggest dominator of entire kanha.. but from 2 different females.. as compare to all of them , kingfisher is quite below in number. he looks huge by side just becoz of his big bulky belly. still he is suffering to make own territory. some people used to say kingfisher is huge tiger but it not right.. Bheema is taller and having great mass , umarpani is huge in size and looks so big coz of huge face.. and link 7 male is just muscular tiger i can say. no bulky nor thin.. just perfect shaped tiger like munna. but he is still young than all of the. as compare to these 3 kingfisher is not as huge or not dominator even like them.

"

Obviously what jumped out immediately was the "260kg mark at 2 years old"
I asked who weighed him

"Bheema was weighet by forest dept while colloring him."

I wonder if @Vijay Rajan has any info about this as well?

But either way, @Sahil AK has joined the forum and I for one look forward to his contributions as well.

Sorry but all of this is made up crap, Bheema weighed 260kg at 2 years of age? this is a good laugh, also his father Kankatta only weighed 197kg (past his prime)

Kingfisher male's size is far greater than any Mukki male out there and this cant be contested. when Mundi dadar male was around (Kingfisher's father) he ran Munna out of his territory, had a litter that he guarded for about an year and then he mysteriously vanished after that. (Kingfisher is from the same litter)

Kf defeated Umarpani in jan 2015 and after that they had numerous fights, at the end. neither of them were willing to give up Mukki. same case with Bheema and Link 7, numerous fights between the two but neither of these two were willing to give up. Bheema and Umarpani also had few fights and there was no winner at the end, like i once said. they are fighting to survive and fighting for space,  not to kill each other and Kf/Umarpani are the main reason for Thin Stripe vanishing for good. Kf has been around since mid 2014 and towards the end of 2014, he became a dominant force. since then and now. hes still in Mukki, along with Umarpani, Link 7, Bheema and the saga continues.

He said it was reported by the Forest Department, but like you, I suspect the weight claim. Not saying it's not possible but a 2 year old tiger weighing that size is pretty much unheard of.
Is there any chance bheema could of been older when collared?

This tigress we encountered on several occasions in Jan and April 1996. I can remember that the heart-shaped mark on it's right hind leg was an obvious thing to recognise.

Another big boy from saat number wali mada, just like his brother after dispersing from mother he moved to mukki zone but pushed away in buffer by some tiger and started killing cattle there. Forest department tried to get him back in core zone twice but he couldn't survive and found dead in mukki near orai camp. Its never easy being a tiger, both huge & beautiful guys couldn't survive!

While all of us are aware of the fact that Male Tigers biting the nape of females during copulation is a common behaviour, here's an interesting insight provided by British Zoologist Dr.Desmond Morris, in his 1990 book "Animalwatching : A Field Guide to Animal behaviour". Please do take a moment to read this. He states :
"Many male mammals can be seen to grab their mates by the scruff of the neck when mating. This neck-biting looks aggressive and even brutal, but it is not. In fact, it is a small behavioural trick played by the males on their females, enabling them to mount without too much difficulty. The neck bite acts as a pacifier and immobilizer. To find the reason for this, it is only necessary to look back what happens to young mammals when they are being transported by their mother. She picks them up by the scruff of their necks, holding them firmly but gently in her jaws. Their reaction to this is to lie immobile and to allow themselves to be transported without struggling. This is important if they have to be quickly removed to a safer place. When the adult mammal grabs his female in his jaws, she reacts as if she were his offspring. Programmed in infancy to lie still and not struggle when her mother bites in this manner, she automatically responds in the same way to her mate. In this fashion infantile responses can be usefully exploited as a technique that ensures a smooth copulation.”
