that's def matkasur

Hello Friends, since few weeks , I had login issues. Could login back now. Yes, that's Matkasur male of Tadoba range. He is not from Kolsa range. Just last week I had a head on sighting of him.

Did you get a chance to see bajrang and choti Tara mating?

Hello

No. I couldn't see mating.  I went a week later.

We got to see both Matkasur and Bajrang  closely. No wonder Bajrang is intruding into Matkasur male because he is much larger than Matka.

I am sure post this monsoon the scenario may change drastically. Because khali is now seen coming till waghdoh area which is Bajrang's territory now  ; Bajrang is now seen going till jamni area which is Matka territory now; Narsimha was seen on that day inside Chikhalwani waterhole which is right in middle of Matka area. And surprisingly Sonam's 2.75 years old son is still in Telia; he is huge.  I also heard Maya's last litter son; Bhola seen In Ainbodi , tadoba which is where Maya's current litter resides.

I also saw unknown cub near  khatoda gate which is entry between mohurli and Tadoba ranges

Nice info bro.
How Bajrang stack up in size compared to males like waghdoh, Narasimha, Katezari and Khali ??
According to my buddy, Katezari is the similar size to Matkasur and Waghdoh was larger than both, but I'll let @shaileshsharadnaik  give us more info on that.

He is the Navegaon male as well, he was mating with Maya when I was there May. 17'
We just missed this guy.
Hello FriendsI have seen katezari, waghdoh, Bajrang, Matkasur. From my perspective; Katezari and Bajrang are of same size. Waghdoh may be similar in size but was bulkier because of his age. Matkasur is certainly smaller than all these.

Thanks for the info.
Have you visited other central Indian parks like Kanha, Pench etc ?

Unexpected Safari at Turia, Pench

It was a wonderful morning safari where we got to sight a new male #tigerthat to head-on and for two hours near water body. He looks like BMW ( but he is not) he should be approx 6-7 years old huge and bold.
This is not the end moving further towards the collarwali territory.. We got a bonus to sight Collarwali on kill...
In short today's morning safari was full of unexpected moments and sights.

Omveer Choudhary‎
As usual started with my morning safari towards #Collarwali area in #turiaPench, where I saw few vehicles waiting in her area, as they heard an alarm call, so I asked my driver to move ahead but suddenly within 50 meters we saw a huge male tiger walking towards us but as soon I asked my guest to sight the #tiger he went in as he was quiet shy, so we move behind to keep some distance for him to come out and within few minutes the royal #majestic animal came out and gave us his glimpse by giving #shutterbugssome good shots.

Story still continues after our short break, saw many vehicles have spotted him now but couldn’t get his sight so as you all know patience are always rewarded in #wildlife, so after waiting for almost two hours we saw him coming out towards water body and we got a second chance to sight this #brave #bold male tiger who seems to be very powerful as he is trying to get his territory for which he had a fight with another male tiger Raiyakassa who was badly injured during the fight.

Pannalal info:

In regards to Bheem possibly receiving his scar from Pannalal, I know Bheem didn't have his scar until May of 2017

So if Pannalal is at fault, it would of had to of happened immediately following his arrival to Bandhavgarh before any photographers had spotted him, if that is the case I'm not sure you can point the blame to him either way since no one is there to have witnessed it.

Bheem is generally in the Khitauli Zone and to my knowledge  Pannalal was there this past early December so it's entirely possible but the time frame seems to be a bit off since the Nose wound needed time to heal so it most likely happened March/April and I'm not sure Pannalal was in Bandhavgarh at that time, but who knows for sure.
