MT3 sub-adult male tiger being weighed after death.







Tiger found dead at Mukundara Tiger Reserve in Kota

The male tiger called MT-3 died at the Mukundara Tiger Reserve in Hadoti. He was brought there from Ranthambore Tiger Reserve. Officials confirmed the news of his death.

The four-year-old tiger's body was discovered early morning near the water point in Mashalpura forest area.

On Monday, the tiger was seen limping around in the same forest. Following which, the Forest Department made preparations for his treatment.

MT-3 was to be tranquilized on Thursday, but he died before that.
The tiger's post-mortem will be conducted by the medical board at Dara Rest House. The cause of MT-3's death can only be ascertained after his autopsy.
