He looks he recently took a beating, poor guy.
While it's true that he's a resilient survivor for still soldiering on despite the odds, it's a real pity to see none of the Thanda Impi sons enjoying the same success their fathers had (Mandevu looks great, yes. But he's still a pride male in his own natal pride).
Something surely seems to have happened in that area, when these guys were still with their natal pride, though it only seems to have affected the young males, as we don't see the same infirmities in the rest of the Narhus. Lambile, was also very sick, but, as you mentioned, that didn't seem to affect Mandevu or Ncile. I have mentioned it before, but the Nkuhlus are very reminiscent of the Tumbelas, in that half of the original coalition appear sick, and unable to rid themselves of what ails them. Other than these two coalitions, I don't recall other coalitions where the majority were so simultaneously sick.
Tumbela trailing Mhangenis hoping to be accepted, so sad to see him like this, his own body eating away at him. Doesn’t seem so long ago he was with NK again and looking in real good condition.
I think thats just asking for problems, seeing that pride is also regularly visited by other males and being accepted is not guaranteed.
Sadly the deterioration also seems to be speeding up.
Ussually when he pops up he looks just his usual bad. But now it seems like each sighting is worse than the other.

Man, I hate seeing him like this, TB is the scourge of lions, and I just wish they would find a cure, or at least a preventative. This is possibly the worst case I have ever seen.

Is it risky, yes, but it’s very clear he can’t continue surviving by himself, and we know he loves the west. Monwanas for now have left and don’t seem to be acting as territorial males so he could survive even if they come back, he could come across both PCMs again when they visit Othawa Pride but it’s a risk he has to take. We’ll see if it pays off.
His condition has been fluctuating for quite some time but this is the worst it’s ever been and not sure it’s ever going to improve, maybe he’s just too far gone at this point. So sad to see him like this when you think back to how impressive he looked during their time with the Othawa Pride.

Been thinking about him a lot, lately, especially after other recent videos, so I am glad that he at least looks better than he did. At this point, we'll take whatever good news we can get, glass being half full and all.

What I observe most in these videos of him is his ability to move, he seems to move well and this is very important for him to be able to eat and maintain at least his energy, this video made me optimistic

He looks better!
How old is he? As far as I know, Tumbela coalition was born in 2015?
EDIT: I read the first page, he was born in 2016... that means 8-9 years old now? Not too old!

In his case, as with all of his brothers, I don't believe it is the years so much as it is the mileage that is causing him so much grief.
