Whatever happens, happens. Its sad to see him like this, but his refusal to try anything different or find new opportunities condems him to this fate untill someone puts him out of it permanently.

Its a bit like watching a car standing on a busy traintrack blocking traffic, perfectly capable of getting out of the way. But refuses so out of spite.

That looks like a massive cyst, I had a cat that had something similar, and the only way it could be treated was to remove the sac entirely. The one my cat had didn't seem to affect her at all, she just had a huge bump on her lower back, with no apparent pain. Docs, who said they are common, drained it, and it came back in less than a week, so it had to be removed. I've not seen that huge lump on Skorro Jr before, this is terrible for him. His appears very painful, it will certainly impede his ability to hunt and to protect himself.

It's humbling to see such a male reduced to lurking around females that are not receptive to him, because he didn't leave when he could have, like the NK Male.  Now, he may be too weak and ill.  I hope not but he doesn't look very powerful or healthy.  His leg injury could hamper his ability to hunt well... Sad(

What a waste, when we could have seen him and NK Male unite in partnership.  They may have been better off with each other.  Guess their personalities didn't mesh.

It seems Nkuhuma is doing something very similar with the Talamatis now. I couldn't agree more, I too wish he and Skorro Jr were about to develop a coalition, I think that was their best chance at doing so, at least at that time. It is even more difficult, when you think about how much Skorro Jr has to give to a pride and their cubs, as he demonstrated with the Othawas (those cubs adored him), and I believe Nkuhuma has as well. Only time will tell, we have all seen males bounce back from poor condition, let us hope Skorro Jr is able to do that as well.

This is so sad for Skorro Jr.
Is NYM still trying to join the Talamatis boys??

No, he has been seen once again trailing the Talamati Pride. I assume the bigger Gijima has returned south to meet back up with his brother.

Guide stated this shot was from this morning, so I wonder when the video of him looking in really poor condition was taken?

I asked the guide that saw him about his overall condition and he replied that he "looked and acted great". It's nice to have some positive news on him for a change.

If thats the case then there's nothing the 1 PC Boy can do vs Tumbella alone. They both get to eat. Not worth injuries. Now with 2 brothers vs him, totally different story. Scorro Jr looking very good, healthy, thank God.

He has been tolerated before by both males together when they were all sleeping close to Ximhungwe.

It's stuff that sometimes happens.

True, lions surprise us a lot. But yeah they may have tolerated him around, somewhat close but is be hard-pressed to see all 3 males sharing a kill with lionesses around. I highly doubt that would happen as 2 vs 1, with 1 intruding. Unless im missing a pic or info showing this happens and im wrong, I highly doubt that. 1 brother tolerating an intruder, eating together, sure. No problem.

Its not like they were laying next to eachother. So most likely the PCmales just werent aware of Skorro back then or decided to just guard the pride instead.
