Nhnha doesn't defend his nomad cubs but he doesn't follow them and eat their food either. All I say that Tumbela need to leave them alone and search for a new partner or some nomad lioness. He is still have time for this.
But if he keeps trailing Sassy, he will just put them and himself in more danger.
Can't imagine how he'd put them in any more danger than they're already in? Dark Mane doesn't necessarily put the Talamatis in any danger, he stays silent (for the most part) and doesn't scent mark.
The Tumbela males participation allows them access to larger prey. MalaMala just posted a video of the two Kambula breakaways taking down a Buffalo, something essentially impossible for a solo lioness. Then on top of that allows them the protection to keep their kills from other prides, any young males lurking around and the local Hyena clans. It's been a long time since then but the Ulusaba guides mentioned something like 26 Hyenas feeding on Othawa males mother after they killed her. They're really big clans in that area.
Without a second adult to aid in hunting the Othawa lioness is limited to mostly Impala, warthogs and the occasional waterbuck/Wildebeest (which she will have to hunt daily, increasing her chance of injury). Baby Giraffe aren't a common occurrence and adult giraffe aren't going to be taken down a single lioness unless they trip. Eventually some of the subs will start to disappear if 6 lions are having to share impala.
Male lions obviously take the "lions share" of the kill, but that's still around 30kg of meat per sitting (Buffalos reach 900kg max weight), and from what I've seen the Males don't necessarily always prevent their offspring from feeding. It's mostly the lionesses who are prevented from feeding until the male has eaten.
Essentially, they really need a second adult right now.

Will he stick around for long enough to help them hunting? You say above that males won't protect nomad lionesses.
And the main thing: he hasn't even found them yet.
What is Skorro profit from aiding them?
Sassy is not back to fertile condition yet. He has no territory to protect.

Male lions will protect nomadic lionesses. Though typically they leave his territory from tome to time where he cant help them. The male lion would also prefer to stick to the territorial pride of the area. So is not likely to be around if the nomad gets in trouble.
Male lions want a few things, sex, companionship, security and food.
Holding a territory is just a way to present other males from weaseling in on his stuff.

Nhenha also didn't immiditately left his area and pride, he was with them for some time before he left and partnered with NK.
Skorro Jr. also 2 times already left this area for few weeks, so its not like he is still following Othawas all the time, in the past 2 months, he was only 1-2 weeks or so with Othawas, and now we still dont have report that he again found them.
Skorro Jr. is a nomad, its normal for males who lost their territory to hang around and occasionaly return to their former area, but eventually Skorro Jr. will leave this area for good, especially as he is young and prime male, who still has "drive" for success.

Agreed and that is my question exactly. The two Avocas know he is alone. Here Nhenha and NK find out Skorro Jr. is alone and target him. I don’t want to vilify or glorify any lion but is this because Imbali male is fearless and just too strong?
The difference is that the avocas are dominant males with established territory, Nhenha and Nkuhuma are males looking for territory and females.
The avocas also don't typically venture into north Djuma. The S8 male is in manyeleti/buffleshoek for the most part and comes north Djuma occasionally. I also don't think he comes into Djuma while they are present.
Until he makes a move on their territory, or they decide they want to expand north, there's no need for conflict.
Nhenha and Nym took over the Ximhungwe pride earlier and are now pretty much dominant over large parts of the former Othawa/Tumbella territory now. Actively pursuing rather than avoiding other lions.
I think we need to stop thinking of them as nomads.

Weren't the Tumbelas over the Xinghungwe lioness and her sub? Female sub gone.
Weren't they over the Tsalala pride? Mom is gone.
Weren't they over the Othawa pride? Two lionesses down.
He's also lost 2 brothers.
Skorro Jr's world has been rocked in a relatively short amount of time.
He needs to put up some amount of resistance soon or lose it all.
Combined resistance goes a long way, too.

No he's not. I like Skorro Jr and don't believe that anyway.
It's just that he had a big area with single moms which were hard to protect, so they were vulnerable.
Nevertheless, he needs to do something about what's left, because Sassy has a lot of responsibility and is at risk.
