Maybe those injuries in Nhenas face are signs of a fight with Scorro? It aligns with Scorro Jrs timeline of him missing if im not mistaken.

After nearly four weeks the Male has made a surprising appearance! He has not yet linked up with his Ottawa pride but shouldn’t be long! What happens next?

Surprising.

I hope he stays away though. The pride has no use for a cowardly lion that will only be one more mouth to feed.

He is really useless for the right now so they should avoid him.

He will just attract more attention to them.

But Tr1x24, A lot of us are now interested in seeing the footage of remaining Ottawa pride bringing down a prey. Will we see it? Will the youngsters be of any help? That’s one of the main questions. If Skorro Jr links up with the pride, it will take away the food like the picture before shows, eats it and gets bigger. Bigger issue is, his presence alone attracts the big boys around. Just a high maintenance for the pride that itself is teetering on the brink. Due to health issues of the other two males, this Tumbela take over has turned out to be disaster for the pride. But this boy provided some great images of late.

Ultimately he is a runner. From the perspective of the pride, He is never there when they need him the most. Only to reappear a few days later to steal some more food.
He isn't even that scared of the Birmingham's as he keeps returning and messing with their pride.

I know its all nature and everyone for himself and all. But that does not mean we cant describe their character. And I dont think Skorro has it in him to successfully keep a pride.

Youngsters can be at help when Sassy catches the pray and help her when she is choking the pray, but are still too young to be useful in actual hunting shenanigans.

As for Skorro Jr., it goes both ways, would he get a big share and take smaller kills for himself?  Yes,  but now with only 1 "hunting"  lioness, he would also prob participate in hunts with her and help her bring down bigger meals, males are excellent hunters when they need to be.

As for attracting NK/Nhenha,  i dont think there is an issue there,  Skorro Jr. Is nomad and keeps low profile (no roaring or scent marking),  so he doesn’t attract any more attention then Othawas themselves. Also, if NK/Nhenha find Othawas and Skorro Jr. together, this is actually better for Othawas as 2 males will go after Skorro Jr., leaving Othawas time to escape, he would be a decoy.

In the end,  Skorro Jr. is a nomad,  he prob wont spend all his time with Othawas for longer period, eventually he will just move off and leave this area for good, searching for new opportunities.

You do understand, that there is no male lion alive who can defend his territory against 2 invading adult males?? It never happened.

So, he is a coward because he doesn’t want to die? How exactly he would beat 2 adult males in a fight?

Skorro Jr. defended his pride and territory against 2 coalitions of 2 males for almost half a year,  this is actually great achievment which not many lone males would be capable to do.

So lets not "bash"  Skorro Jr., he did everything he could.

Sassy needs every bit to feed her cubs, every eaten warthog or gazelle by Skorro will mean less food and slower growth for the cubs.

And he hasn't been a help for the pride later. I agree that Tumbela turned out to be bad pride males in terms of endurance and health.
Probably bad blood for the cubs too but nothing to be done here.
