Very odd that he declined this fast.. I guess that reunion was just a rumour afteral.

I recall the Pride and Skorro being at Injati currently.
Dulini is probably closer to Nhenha and Nyms territory.

I wonder if there is some other factor at play here. Like a fight or that leg of his acting up again.

Sadly, it means Skorri Jr. will be ousted during this year and his cubs either killed or exiled too. No future for Ottawa pride.

Limper is no use for Skorro Jr. for many months now, and he still managed to defend territory and pride from PC males and Nhenha/NK. So Limpers death wont change Skorro Jr. position, he is pretty much lone dominant male for ~ half a year now.

And not to mention mapogo daughters are still there and strong enough. They have check advancement of nhenha and nkuhuma male before also when skorro jr. was weak.
I am not saying that young girls are 100 percent safe as similar situation was there with HB matimba vs tumbela case and these othawa girls had chosen young tumbelas over old man but definitely takeover of othawa pride won't be a cake walk.

This makes me very sad. I was hoping he would live longer. I don’t know much about TB in lions but how is it that skorro does not have TB but his 2 brothers did?

Sad end to Limper, he managed to survive more then half a year longer then his brother Scar, looks like both of them had the same or similar disease, most likely TB, altrough, their condition might also be caused by rough nomadic life, and prolonged malnutrition, or maybe genetics.

Here is throwback of Scar and Limper vs Mbiri (now Tintswalo) young males and their brother Lambile in April 2020, before they came to Sabi Sands, from 8:30 min :

We can see even there, how skinny both Scar and Limper where, and that followed them to their end.

Their "lost" brother Lambile also have that problem, altrough still not to that extreme, yet. So there is speculation that might be genetics, or more likely that they together eat some carcass who was infected with TB or something, when they where young, which also might be the cause of "disappearence" of their 2 lost brothers in nomadic life.

Sad story for Nharu/Tumbela males, but thats nature, hope that Skorro Jr can protect this Othawa offspring to adulthood and continue their legacy.

I saw that in the Lion Sightings fb post they mentioned the two missing brothers were killed in "human-wildlife conflict".
