Pilibhit tiger number rises to more than 65
Hindustan Team Mon, Feb 24 2020  *This image is copyright of its original author Annual internal assessment of animal count in the tigers reserve has found Pilibhit to have reached between 65 to 70 tigers including all adults & juveniles.Pilibhit Tiger Reserve (PTR) authorities have written to principal chief conservator of forests (wildlife) for translocating the dozen-odd tigers that have made the sugarcane fields in Amaria block home to avoid impending human-tiger conflict in the area. Of these, 4 are sub-adults.

This female cub was playing with the fawn who itself was 2/3 days old only. Probably her mother Tigress has provided this fawn to her for practicing of future.
