The Mantimahle Males

The Mantimahle male lions continue their sporadic love affair with @andbeyondkirkmanskamp, appearing in the east of the reserve to ensure their territory is uncontested, and then disappearing into the Kruger National Park within hours.

What a privilege it is to spend time with such magnificent animals.

The crazy thing is that the 3 avocas do not realize that their 2 brothers are to the south, imagine if they regrouped, 5 CONFIDENT AVOCAS will for sure have a shot at the Birmingham boys. Reply

Not necessarily. If they're from different litters, and didn't spend time together, then most likely won't tecognize each other as brothers, and would fight as rivals, blood relation or not. Reply

hmmm.. Given that Southern Avocas are mating with Sparta femlaes.. vocalizing and scent marking..

I feel like once they sire cubs with sand river pride they will probably start moving in more into sabi sands. Reply
