Looks like BBpys are very good Pride males.. and great fathers!! (Very protective about the females and cubs)

Interesting behavior if there was a video of it, that would be cool.
They have been spending more time then they used to in MalaMala, I don't think they would have any problem taking over the Kambula pride for themselves I guess it's just a matter of when, The Matshapiri male is alone and I doubt the other two Majingilane are interested in a having a confrontation seems like Scar Nose is the only one interested in the Kambula lionesses plus they are only three and old let's see what happens

It wasn't one of the Avoca males, they were two fully grown males from Kruger one ran away and the other was the one that died due to the injuries, this was the male that died

Is it sure, that it wasn't one of the talamati boys?
I mean no one knows who the lion was but judging by this picture it looks like a 7/8 years old male considering the amount of black in his mane the talamati's are what 4/5 years old ?

There has been a lot of photos of Mfumo recently and none of the other three not complaining he is my favorite BB
They have beautiful manes! And all 4 together...Maybe they wanna make a statement now. I think it's time they put pressure on the ageing Majingilane Coaltion.

They are a nervous to challenge the majingilanes. The majingilanes chased them in their own territory.
MALAMALA TODAY: November 8th. Light showers across the Reserve this morning set the tone for a chilly day but we still enjoyed excellent game viewing with 9 big cat sightings! Lions: The Gowrie males are pushing further and further into MalaMala. Today, for the first time, we viewed 3 of them west of the Sand River near our Airstrip. The 4th male was at Mlowathi Dam. The 13 members of the Styx pride are feeding on a waterbuck kill to the east of Mlowathi Dam. The scar-nosed Manyeleti male and 4 Kambula lionesses killed another impala midway along our western boundary.

From what I remember there were other males in the pride other then the five Birmingham Boys, what happened to the other males does anyone know?
