It is more Likely that Nhnha is dead. However, I remain skeptical until his dead is official because there is still a chance that he's alive.

I'm surprised how well his condition is. Obviously his leg is still in a bad way but at least he is putting weight on it.

It amazes me how resilient lions are. The same applies to Red Road male when he was severely injured and couldn't walk at all but he was lucky to have a pride to go back to.

I'm not sure if the Red Road Male injury was as bad as Nhena's but there's still hope for him which is great.

He seems to be adapting well to the life of an scavenger.
But that leg is even this long after the attack still a huge problem.

This may turn into a long drawn out kind of affair like Limper or Widenose.

Yes Nature isn't a Hallmark movie  but based on you recent posts your focus always seem to be so negative about Nhena than anything else.

I can't even remember the last time you even said anything positive regardless of the circumstances.

Found that the video was originally uploaded to their Facebook page on the 3rd of February, and from reading the caption it would appear they weren't aware as to whom he is nor the cause of his injury at that time. Hopefully someone on the ground with knowledge of him will give a detailed update on him eventually. I know FB links don't always work but going to provide a link to their page anyways for anyone interested in seeing the original post on there.

You're always pessimistic with this kind of subject, very rarely say anything positive. All you give us is mumbo jumbo without any evidence to support your claims, not even any photos or videos.
You remind me of that "Bellateda" user before he/she was banned, which isn't surprising when it happened. He/she always was also pessimistic.

It’s sad that so many people have come here and corrupted the fandom with their bad attitude and misinformation. We have already been told that Nhenha hasn’t been spotted since the carcass sighting. Instead of listening and accepting that, people are attacking guides who are literally just out there doing their job, in the mist of one of the worst flooding Kruger has experienced in years. People are getting airlifted out of rivers right now.

Its sad that fanaticism over this one lion had to go to this extreme. One of the Ndzenga males just died and I didn’t see any hysteria over him and we waited WEEKS for an update. Even his death announcement was one sentence with no further information and everyone accepted that. Because that’s how nature works… you don’t always get everything wrapped up in a bow.

And course that video isn’t Nhenha. No location was given. No western sector guide ever reported seeing him. His whisker spots and scar AND mane doesn’t match. He has no scaring on his leg which was still a festering wound on the 31st.

If Nhenha is seen you will hear it from an official source that will share the info publicly.

The Imortal Nhenha strikes back. I'm always saying people write him off way too easily.

His condition is almost as good as Tumbela's current form and Tumbela is young and healthy.

Only issue going on for him is the leg, it's been almost a month and half and he is limping almost as bad as ever, but even this I'm not certain is completely permanent. I mean he will likely keep a limp but may be able to recover to a point he can be a functional male instead of being just a scavenger, time will tell.

Edit: Wait wait, it isn't Nhenha? Oh boy if so then ignore my comment above.
