No Vinay; My list and I doubt any of the other lists I see here are made according to "favorite animal". I placed the bear exactly where I believe he deserves to be. The other posters here placed their favorite exactly where they believe their favorite should be placed. It appears that you are the only exception here and you simply quoted from some ( reputable ) online site. Now with that being said; stop your attempts at creating drama. Simply post according to topic and cease the personal attacks. 

I simply asked u a simple question, why various WESTERN Media and wildlife experts never put BEARS even in Top 20 smartest animals?? 

May be only you are smartest among all the wild life experts ..  Reply

1 - Whales, dolphins, corvus ( crows and ravens ), and the African gray parrot.
2 - Great apes, baboons, bears, racoons, and elephants. 
3 - Other old world monkeys and new world monkeys.
4 - Wolves, foxes, wild dogs, hyenas, seals, walrus, and sea lions. 
5 - Mustelids and cats ( big and small ). Reply

Surprised that the raccoon didn't made the list of all of you. It is extremely intelligent !

Or.... is that a myth ?
