There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Shish males
"Just for our self there they were a pride of lionesses walking on the road before other cars came. But after they passed we saw in a distance male lions. yes it was Casper with two of his brothers. They moving to the directions of the lionesses and I thought maybe they will fight because I thought they did not belong to them. But Casper lay down close to them. So I don’t know if this lionesses belongs to Casper and his brothers.  Maybe somebody knows. It was so nice to see because the day before Casper was injured on his leg but seems to walk perfect the next day."

Long sequence (19mn) about Casper and his brothers. We can see a bold jackal simply walking among male sleeping lions. Casper seems to be in good condition. At the end we hear an intruding male lion's roar. But no one reaction from the Casper's brothers.

Some photos of the one eyed old Shish male. Doesn't he resemble the biggest young Shish male?
