Four Shishangaan male lions expanding their territory to take over the N’semani Lion Pride in the Kruger National Park South Africa.
The Shishangaan coalition consists of 4 male lions and one of them being the famous white lion Casper, who are the dominant males around Satara rest camp and are the pride males of the Satara lion pride. Last year they had shown interest in taking over the N’semani lion pride even seen mating on several occasions. They landed up settling with the Satara pride which resulted in the 2 Nkaya pan males taking over the N’semani pride from the old Mbiri and rockfig male. In the last couple months the Shishangaan males have started expanding their territory in the pursuit of taking over the N’semani lion pride and they have most frequently been seen around the dam mating and in the company of lionesses from the N’semani pride. The Shishangaan males are confident boys making them very vocal and can often be heard announcing their presence with loud roars around Satara rest camp.
In this video early morning we found them just east of N’semani in between the Dam and Satara they returned distant roars of neighbouring lions. They then got active during midday causing a massive traffic jam which they are famous for doing around Satara. The 4 male lions made there way towards N’semani dam. Before resting near road close to N’semani. 2 of Caspers brothers, Mfowethu and Casanova ended of the day with a magnificent roar making it loud and clear that they are here to take over.
In remains to be seen what the future will hold for the Nkaya pan males who fathered cubs with females from the N’semani pride earlier this year.
We have seen Casper and his brother with at least 6 different lionesses from the N’semani pride.

Yes, we all agree it is this channel, and he seems to have a penchant for creating drama around Casper particularly. He was the same one who was pondering if Casper had been kicked out of his coalition because he found him alone. Nobody is blaming you for this my friend.

We know that its all about views and clicks for channels to grow, "dramatic" title is what attracts the "neutral" viewers, everybody is doing it, so dont "bash" the guy.

I don't know that anyone was bashing the guy, simply stating the facts of what has been observed from his videos. If his titles get him more views, then good for him, I also think the more eyes we get on these animals the better things can be. But, just as he is free to title and comment in his videos as he likes, we are also free to comment on our own observations.
EverSeenSA hasn't put out a video in quite some time, and that is a real shame, we need more of these types of videos not less. So, I'm all for doing whatever it takes to get those views, but that doesn't mean that we shouldn't comment when we see things we disagree with, or know to not be the case, the pages of WildFact are full of such commentary..
The problem with sensationalizing things like that is it can eventually turn viewers away just as easily as it can draw them in, when they realize that what they were lead to believe by the title isn't actually the case. I have personally stopped watching channels who use "click bait" types of titles, and know others who have as well. So, yes, it may draw in the casual observer, but it can also drive away others.
