When I look at Grimmace I see N1 too so it can be confusing trying to tell who fathers are. When I originally saw Grimmace for the 1st time I couldn't see any resemblance to N1. It took a while but I finally was able. They say when mating the offspring can take on traits of all the males do this might have been the case, possibly?

This is the same with Long to me.

His extremely blond mane was really striking and conspicuous among the Notch boys who basically had had solid black manes.

Yea this could had happened in the case of Long as well. Probably some of the Marsh girls mated with both of the males (Notch and Light Mane) in the same time in early 2005.

Lormasi, son of the lioness I've seen being referred to as "Mama Earless" joined the younger members Rongai Pride on a buffalo kill. Anyone have a back story on him and his mother? I've seen numerous posts of them but haven't seen much history on them.

Fig Tree Pride. The two Fig Tree lionesses have done a fantastic job of keeping the offspring of the late Frank2 and Jesse2 alive.

Orkuret has been mating with FTP lioness lately after being chased around by the pride.

Olepelos has been mating Enkoyunai Lioness rescently. We can see how humans cause devastation killing territorial males. If Nyekendu was still alive Salas Males would definitely not be invading and mating those lionesses without confrontation. Osupaat has tough time ahead, its so unfair.only a matter of time 3 Salas move into OMC full time into another dangerous area full of cattle and violent humans. They have raised their share of many young Topi offspring. I wouldn't doubt they looking for new pride.

Salas pride attacking a pair of hyenas. According to the guide, they managed to kill them.

" The Bila-Shaka or 6-Pack coalition is a Coalition of 6 Male Lion who live in the Masai Mara in Kenya. The six males were sired by the legendary male lions Lolparpit and Olbarnoti. The 6 males were born in 2014 in the Moniko Pride.
The coalition consists of male lions Baba Yao, Doa, Chongo, Kiok, Kibogoyo and Koshoke.

Do you think this would be better in the coalitions of Masai Mara thread, my friend?

@BA0701 :

Sincerely, I don't know, these two threads are almost identical. The video speaked about the lioness too, didn't it ?  And with the term of "coalition", don't we speak about males coalitions searching to push over somes other males ruling over a territory ?

But having said that, just before choosing the good thread, as usual when the choice is difficult, I have made a search:

https://wildfact.com/forum/search.php?ac...order=desc

And as you can see, it isn't evident... May be you're right because the video is focused about these six males' story...

My friend, I just came across this and im pretty sure there is an actual 6 Pack coalition thread of its own. Probably would be best moved there IMHO!

Very great news: 2/5 Fig Tree Pride subadult males were seen in the days, they're the last remaining descendants of the late Frank2 and Jesse2 aka Olope and Olbarikoi.

Hopefully the 3 other brothers and that young male who joined the pride later - probably from Porini pride - are also doing great well.

I don't recall ever seeing a male that young, so overstuffed. Wow!
