There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Isn't this male a nomad because I don't think he's one of the pride males.
Earless Notch doing well with his little pride. His younger brothers Notch 2 Jr aka Hercules,Samson ,Zeus and David now own the neighbouring pride .Photo Credits to Velefitness
Dongo he may be beautiful but a good father he isn't .Not like his clever grandfather Notch .He and his brothers own 3 prides they mated all of them last year and refused to accept the cubs .They mated the females again accepted the cubs in one pride but not the others which is really affecting the females as they need new female cubs for their prides to keep going .Though there are some young sub males around who sneak in it's Dongo and his brothers who mate these females mainly .They have been fathering since 2015 but there is no subs to show for all that mating .Dongo the beautiful .He may be beautiful but a good father he isn't .Photo Credits to R Rotiken
A lion called Morani. The roar of a fully grown male lion is surely one of the best sounds in the world. Too bad you can't hear it by simply looking at the photo. Credits: Jonas Stenqvist photography
