Photo series credit: Lou Pignolet We went out early this morning on the Masai Mara plain with Layne Kennedy and Salomea Klunzinger hoping to experience a lion kill. We came across a very recent kill with 9 satiated lions including 3 large males. Here are a few photos of some of the lions lying around the zebra carcass, some still eating and being watched by a jackal and hyenas.
