All 3 Salas Boys chased the 2 younger Black Rock Brothers with their 3rd Rongai partner for 10km's. Somewhere after they turned the tables and caught  Osapuk alone and Orkitok alone. They were injured, 1 back leg (Orkitok) and Osapuk took a serious beating. Olepelos either ran or just didn't get caught. As of 15 mins ago 2 Salas, Orkitok and Olepelos were together and Osapuk injured about 2km away hiding out in some bushes. They should recover but Osapuk took a serious beat down by those young boys. Hope it doesn't affect Topi pride as Salas have done great job so far and need to get their young old enough to disperse. More info will come down.

Edit... Initially it was 3 on 3. 1 of the young boys (i think Rogai boy) ran and hid in a Lugga. Olepelos also ran leaving Osapuk and Orkitok vs Young Black Rockers Kijana and Lekijana. They separated both Salas and gave each a pretty beating with Osapuk getting seriously beaten.

Yes, there was a quite serious brawl between the two coalitions in the early morning...these Young Black Rock Boys are very impressive as they beated up between 2 of the 3 large and adult Sala's males in their absolute prime years and they are only 3 years old!
Wow
At first i thought that these were at least the BIG (adult) Black Rock Boys - 2 of the 4, for example with Olobor - because I can see from them that they can beat the adult Sala's males as they are highly stronger and more mature with their 5 years, but that these young teenagers...very impressive fact. The Black Rock Bloodline is something very special bloodline, also in the pride member females and the males originated from them.

Thanks for the update BigLion39 & Lipstick2. Seems the young boys did some damage to Osapuk but couldn’t finish him off. Have to see what repercussions this would have later.

Wow, 3 years old and took on the Mighty Salas boys, and for now seem to have won this skirmish, that is very impressive. The Salas boys have been in enough scraps as a group, I am surprised they were separated like they were. The young Black Rock males look to be around the same age as Gijimas, when they attacked Ubuso, but at least in that instance it was 3 on one, until the rest of the N'was arrived on the scene, this was a fair 3 vs 3 fight. I do hope the Salas boys can fully recover, their pride can use some stability.

At the time of that attack, older of Gijimas must have been around 4 and the other two, around 3 and half (I could be wrong too as Gijimas’ age is unknown). These two Black Rock boys are 3 years. May be that’s why they weren’t ruthless enough to finish off Osapuk. One of them even dragged the big Osapuk by the leg but didn’t know what to do after gaining the upper hand.

That was Orkitok. Orkitok was the one who got the worse beating.  Another photographer seen the fights and said the reason why Orkitok was able to get away was Osapuk was on his way towards him to save him. So Kijana and Lekijana basically let go and charged Osapuk. Osapuk got away basically and Olepelos came back to Orkitok. After, thats how we saw it, Orkito and Olepelos in the video and Osapuk about 2km away. All were exhausted and resting including the 3 young boys. The Young Rongai boy was close to the 2 Black Rock Boys now as well.  This was all as of yesterday.

Thay cub is NOT from Fig Tree Pride. All lionesses and cubs have been accounted for and they moved out of the Reserve and into Olerai Conservancy to stay safe Since Olbarikoi was killed.

Thay cub had not been confirmed to any pride yet.

That's what the caption implied, my apologies

Hey no worries at all, I think the 2 cubs (1 dead) have been ID'd as the 2 Moniko-Sankai breakaway lionesses cubs. They are Olope and Olbarikoi cubs. They held both the Fig Tree and Sankei Brakeaway prides. They would be the younger cousins/sisters to the now 3 older Moniko-Sankei dispersed young  nomads if I am not mistaken.

I've read that Rangers might save this last cub and bring it to one of the many orphan places that take in cubs like this to live out their lives in peace. Not sure what to make of it?

The older brothers of Kijana's coalition are also thriving. This is (always) 'bloody boy' Olobor.

I've heard that the cub who was killed by him, was one of the Porini pride cubs - this pride has also gone into exile since then, as they lost their pride males and territory. And not confirmed, but these were Olope's cubs (probably last of them) with Porini girls. What a shame...how so many lion prides and groups lose so much with the fall of just a two-member coalition...I think this case clearly shows the important role of dominant male lions for the protection and survive of the prides. And the Fig Tree Breakaway Pride is also not safe yet, I'm afraid they will also lose some more until their cubs will be fully grown, though their young mothers are doing great job so far.

Olobor and Oloshipa need to chill! Just as easily they can get separated and caught as they do to other males. Osupaat and Nyekendu have a bloody history as well.

Which one of the Black Rock boys got seriously injured in a fight awhile back, maybe a year or more ago, especially got damaged around his groin area I believe.
