Vultures don’t fit a stylish role around nature; however, they are so to speak, the ‘garbage removers’ of the wild, and their role is important in eliminating centres of disease and bacteria. Most vulture species in Africa are all large, powerful (not very attractive) birds; and they are all too, in danger of extinction. I have learned to respect their role in nature, and appreciate their unique quirky looks. A few weeks ago I posted some images and a video were hyenas fed on a buffalo. Seconds after the last hyena left these vultures took over."

So when I found myself in Brazil with a few obliging Kingfishers it was game on again ? I had loads of fun photographing these super fast little gems "
