His absence was too short for that, also he is still fit and strong, so females prob still see him as their protector.

Its yet to be see if he will behave territorial or will he just follow them for food.

Prides do occasionally chase out ot abandon their male if they need more food, he gets to rough with cubs or want some peace and quiet etc. Normally the male just goes on a patrol for a bit and they reunite later as if nothing ever happens.

Normally we dont think too much about it, as it only lasts up to a few hours or days at most. But I guess in the right circumstances it can trigger longer expeditions like these.

Skorro probably wont behave territorial anymore. Both he and the pride lost too much territory for that and it would only invite a beating.

Great news!
Hopefully, Skorro Jr. stays with the pride and provides some protection, similar to what DM is doing.

He wandered off, realized he has no brothers, no ground to fight for new pride and turned back.

He may travel with Ottawas for few weeks or maybe months and then leave again.

Or maybe, the whole pride with Skorro Jr will relocate to an area where there are mainly solo males.

Manyeliti or any other area where the vehicles can't access and we don't know.
It is a hypothetical just like what you said above.

Prides rarely abandon their territory. Keep in mind that they have their own territories with borders completely independant from the territories held by males. An area may seem easy to settle in with lots of single males. But the pride itself is also weak and likely will be ran out by the local prides. So elsewhere is not safer than home.

The Othawas will likely roam western sector untill they are either driven to near extinction. Or the cubs have grown enough to fight and they can drive out rival prides.

I have a hypothesis. During a territorial dispute, one tactic is to sneak in and kill enemy's cubs. Mohawk did it to Birminghams. It is hight risky, and probably what got OM killed.

Skorro Jr. was seen in PC territory right before fleeing, likely from a botched mission. Luckily he is back, the tug war will go on, otherwise his pride will be nomadic and lose cubs.
