Old video.  I think it's OM/Nguvu as a mischievous sub-adult.  The guy who posted the video used to work for the lodge.  He has a lot of good clips of wildlife in the Savanna area.  Some of them feature the Majingis, Othawas, and Manghenis.  Worth checking out if you have a little time.

According to the video, young Othawa male cub almost got himself in trouble, attempting to hunt some hyenas.

Hyenas are more scared of male lions than lionesses. If he was around 2 years old and had a developping mane, a lone hyena wont be bothering him for a 1 v 1 fght. But if there was a clan, the story would be different,

Amazing, what a silly boy! Might turned to be a special character. Thanda Impi spirit, his grandfather charged a buffalo herd, now he is doing this.

With Limper gone, the future of this pride seems really uncertain… I hope everything goes well becauae if another pride takeover occurs, the pride will most likely be left with 1 lioness to take care of the cubs as the other 2 are too old

As long as Mhangenis have that fatherless lone cub, they will be avoiding area with territorial males, which would give Othawa pride as well as any lone lionesses more breathing room. Otherwise Mhangeni pride might be a danger with their numbers. It is quite odd how north of Kambulas there seems to be a split into multiple group and breakaways of 1-3 reproducing lionesses while bit more to the south there is a pride without a dominant male which seems to be unable to raise cubs for some time know, currently raising a lone female cub.

Sassy might be alright, if her aunts last long enough till the fate of the current litters is decided, she could possibly end up rebuilding the pride similar to what Southern female has been doing last couple of years, likely with males providing protection (if she would be alone that likely means that new males moved in and altered fate of the current females cubs) and relative remoteness of the western sector playing in her favour once they would possibly focus on mating with other females in adjacent areas (intruding males would likely had to arrive through territory of fathers of her next litter).

Ofc that is rather presumtous as one hunting accident, accidental split or disease spread may put this on its head but we can't really predict any black swan events or even of they would be any.
