There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

However, it got me wondering about updates on  the SRP, and since you are fully plugged into the goings on with them and their pride males, I thought I would ask you. Do you believe that the SRP is getting frequent  enough updates, to justify their getting their own thread? If not, that is fine, and understandable, as we have, historically, not received regular updates on them, until recently of course.

If they do not, we can simply move this post to the Lion Tales thread, as planned by @Tr1x24, and continue to post updates on the pride in the SS thread, as we've always done.

I think the post fits very well in Lion Tales thread! I wasn't aware of that thread.

Anyway, I think we can make an effort to stay updated a Sand River pride thread and SRP status is reported by Mala Mala. @Ngonya Do you think SRP has frequent enough updates?

I would definitly like a thread topic for the pride but so far i dont see them have nearly as many updates as the other prides of Sabi Sands. Sometimes Kirkman's page, their guides or tourists makes quality posts, aside from MalaMala reposts. All that only once in a while and even less frequently than Nkuhlu coalition thought.
Hopefully with new additions growing in the pride we can get more updates.
If a thread is created the info shared by @FACR2212 would surely be a great introduction indeed.

Ok my friend, we share the same feeling.

Being objective, @BA0701, if a new pride thread is to be created, it would better be one about other pride with more updates.

For now @FACR2212 post about Sand River pride will be moved into "Lion tales" thread.

That thread is useful for stories like this, where we dont have specific thread to post it.

Smudge, the most impressive Nkuhlu male mating with Sand River lioness at Tengile
Hopefully more cubs will be born and survive this time. Four already doing fine, hopefully it continues that way. Future can be bright for the Sand River pride.
