Not long after our search began, we turned around a corner, and right in the road were the four N'waswishaka male lions. We watched them walk with purpose, marking their territory along their way, and then stopped after some time to groom each other.

Yes.

They look like they’re on a mission. I think Amahle and Wide Nose could be littermates. They look almost identical now and seem to have the closest bond of the four brothers. OE seems to do his own thing, being slightly more dominant..

Dont think they are littermates, they have totally different face structure and most likely sired by different males..

Amahle and OE are the most similar in face and sired by same male, which pictures are posted here already..

After some disturbing and sad news over the past weeks, we'd love to tell you very happy news! The Styx Pride was recently seen with seven new cubs, and added to the legacy of the N’waswitshaka males, "7 cubs from Styx, two cubs from the Southern Pride."
All hopes are that these cubs will enjoy a safe environment under the shadow of their strong parents.

Make sure to turn up the volume
The four N’waswitshaka males announce their presence loudly

Majority of lions mane thins in Kruger summer, Nwaswitshakas had much larger manes half a year in winter time..

Now its again close to winter time, so i expect their manes to fill again..

All Nwaswitshakas mostly hang together, they are really close with their bond, so i dont think there is particular male or two who spends more time with them..

Nwaswitshakas remind me of Majingilanes with their bond.. I dont think they are opportunistic or confident as young Majingilanes where, but they have very strong bond like them..
