There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

“Ndhzenga means thorn in the side which was the name given to the coalition due to one male that has an injury from a buffalo horn on the side of his stomach.“

I never knew this. Interesting that Gore is who inspired their name hehe.

I would imagine the Inyathini Male is a leopard. They often kill lion cubs. That's how Tsalala girl lost her litter mates.

I never knew this.  Interesting that Gore is who inspired their name hehe.

I remember reading in their thread here, that when they were in southern parts of Sabi Sands, they tended to rest in a type of local throny bush (the common name of the species I!ve already forgotten) thus not providing an easy sightings and thus they named them after the bush. Could be just Londolozi being Londolozi here.
