There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

The other male I remember at this young age who also weighed 100 kg was Santi male from Passo do Lontra - South Pantanal. Seems like they will get pretty big.

The Fazenda Acurizal in Central pantanal was where the very first scientifically jaguar field study took place held by Dr. Schaller and Dr. Crawshaw.

''This week, the team that is in Serra do Amolar managed to put the collar on Guató, a young adult male, aged between 3 and 4 years. He weighs approximately 100 kilos and, with the monitoring by means of the radio collar with gps, will show in which area of the Serra do Amolar he usually stays more frequently.''

Guató is the second big cat monitored at Serra do Amolar by IHP in Central Pantanal. The other one is the also young Joujou male, who received the collar after being rescued in very unhealthy conditions from the intense fires in the Pantanal in November last year, another male was also rescued along with Jou Jou but he unfortunaterly died while Jou Jou today is doing fine. Check my post about Jou Jou's Rescue case HERE.

Check out my latest size chart, I thought this would be a lot good to "summarize" this whole thread. The chart was made with the help of @Balam
Enjoy!
