Hey guys,

I'm new here. I'm not to sure of how to reply to comments properly yet so please delete if this is the wrong place...

I just wanted to know if anyone has heard of any sightings of Othawa Male Nguvu recently?

I haven't read or heard of any sightings of him for a while now...

Last known sighting was of him mating with one of the Kambula lionesses in Londolozi and he hasn't been seen since...

Hello.

Yea, this was the last sighting of him, after that it was reported that 1 of the BBoys caught his scent and chased him away from Londolozi and Kambula lioness.

He isnt with Mhangeni pride, who where today seen in Sabi Sabi, but without Nguvu.

My guess is that when he was with Kambula lioness, Mhangeni pride moved away, so atm he is searching for them..

The sigting in Londolozi was the most recent one of Othawa male I think.

From @GeeNZ3

He's been spotted back with the Mhangeni with some new scars on his face interestingly enough Tinyo from the Birminghams and the Kambula lioness he was seen mating with a few weeks ago were also seen with freh new scars on their faces too... I'm guessing they had a little lovers triangle tiff of sorts haha judging by Tinyo's face Nguvu got the better of him but nobody knows... The Kambula lioness looks like she copped the worst of it... Glad all 3 are okay and live to fight another day.

Nguvu is a very impressive looking male for his age. His mane looks like of a 7-8 year old male and his size is also very good for a 5 year old male. Btw, looks just like the Forways male in post #211.

5 years old is bassicly an adult so why should he look any more impressive at age of 7-8.

He is adult, but not in his prime, clearly you can tell a difference between 5-6 yrs old lion and 8-10 yrs old. Males hit their prime around 6-7 yrs old.

Early stage of adulhood is physically prime so I do not get what u mean by "He is adult, but not in his prime" Lion are in prime between 5/ 5 and half to 8 maybe 9 years old. 10 years lion is considered old, not a prime.

Most males in their 5 year still dont have full manes, yet alone mass  of a 7-8 yrs old males (there is exceptions like Nguvu who stayed with his pride to almost 4 year and didnt go thru hell of nomadic phase of young males).

By just looking at the lions, most lions look the most impressive and strongest around 7-9 year of their life, so i that consider prime years.

I would even now take 10 yrs old Nhenha to beat Nguvu in 1 vs 1 pretty easly, let alone if you put Nhenha against some avarege 5 yrs old lion, Nhenha would destroyed him.

It is hard to describe the feeling when you are in the presence of a big male lion. We hope that you will all be able to join us on another adventure soon again.
