Majingilane Coalition Male Lineage - ShakaMapogo - 03-30-2018

Hi, I am relatively new to these threads. I’ve been following for a year and I’m wondering if someone could please tell me how many sons do the Majingilane have that have reached independence and formed coalitions? Thank you!

Hello Shaka.

- 1 Fourways male, born 2010 (he has a partner, an unrelated male).

- 2 Styx males, born 2011.

- 3 Sparta males, born 2012. (1 dead, 2 missing).

- 3 Tsalala males, born 2013.

- 3 Mangheni males, born 2013, that joined up with 1 Talamati male (1 of the Mangheni males dissapeared after an encounter with the Charleston males).

And then you have the still young ones:

Tshokwane according to mala mala the fourways male wich was killed by matimbas was the adopted one. So the two fourways alive could be majingilane sons. Also the older sub adults of southern pride are majingilanes grandcubs sired by fouways.

It could be, but I also have seen it mentioned enough that both blonde males had been adopted top the pride prior the emancipation.

The one that is definitely a Majingilane son is the darker maned male, his look is unmistakable.

@Tshokwane Are Tsalala/Marthly males elder than Mhangeni males (First generation)
Both were born in 2013, I was thinking Mhangenis are slightly elder

Tshokwane thank you so much! I did not mean to start a new thread, I was on my phone and couldn't figure how to use the site, but I see my mistake now. And they are such handsome boys, all of them! I got a little confused, I thought the Avoca young males are also theirs? Do you know who sired those males? Also thank you again! I am insanely in love with lions and am trying to read as much as possible about the coalitions in SS. This forum is simply amazing.

The Tsalala males are slightly older, they were born in January while the Mangheni lads were born in July.

The Avoca males are sons of the older Avoca males, you can read about them in the thread Lions of Timbavati.

Don't worry about it, in fact it was a good idea because they question had come up several times and now we have a thread that will especifically answer that question.

Maybe I got it mixed up, since they're so close, but the info I got it from their respective facebook pages, look it up.

RE: Majingilane sons - sundarbans - 03-31-2018

What are the present whereabouts of all these sons? The only ones we get regular updates of are the 3 Tsalala males and the sub-adults.

Yeah, that's because they're all in the Kruger park, that is vast and understandably we don't get as much updates as with the others in the Sabi sands.
