There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

You’re welcome my friend, I’m now hoping this boy finds new companionship. The Birmingham Nephew would be a great candidate

Also some updates regarding the Monwana pride from this guide in the comment section under the video:
"only one of the cubs got killed, it was not really a subadult. Luckily the female got away too, although she seems to be by herself at the moment"
"As far as I know there is one cub killed and a female was badly injured. No other reports so far!"
"Mapoza is still alive apparently, he ran off when the Black dam males made their approach!!"

Recent updates of both males indicate otherwise. Hopefully they’re still together, at least both males are in great condition

they occasionally traverse onto timbavati so this isnt an indication theyre leaving.....theyre actually already back. which if BDs are still in thearea doesnt Bode well.

Thank you for the update my friend. Probably, they're been apart lately temporarily.

Is the Giraffe male close to his BDM cousins or does he have good chances of raising these cubs?

His brother cannot offer any help after all.
