Speaking of the dead River Pride Male, here a throwback to his coalition's fight with the 2 Mbiri males ( dunno if he is the one in the video ), I don't think this different angle of the post-fight ( different video from the one shared here before ) and photos were share here on WF.
All credits to Kelly Co: Last year on April 14 th 2019, I was lucky to see the fight between the river pride and Mbiri brothers. This is my video of the fight. We were watching 3 of the riverpride lions near NThambo treecamp, when another camp called in saying the Mbiri Brothers were running towards us on the tar road. Our jeep drove towards the Mbiri brothers, followed them back and we saw them fighting! The movie I made is only the last minute, I was so “ shocked “ from seeing this, nobody filmed the beginning of the fight. They were reunited and wounded.  *This image is copyright of its original author  *This image is copyright of its original author Same day on the evening drive they lay on the same spot but with a full tummy. We could hear lions making a lot of noise for several hours in the night. I was very impressed by Scar's height in this video, sure the River Pride Male was very young and had a lot of bulking up to do, but speaking only about height, lions are around their peak when they turn 4, still Scar was towering over him:

Yea Mbiris are big, but this RP boys here are prob not even 4 yrs old yet. I was only speaking about height. Lions hardly, if at all grow any taller after this age, studies shows it.  *This image is copyright of its original author 3,5yo lion like Jr Nkuhuma was already as tall as Ginger, the current Nkuhumas of the same age taller than Mohawk. It's normal, it doesn't mean they'll grow in height much more, or even at all. They do, however, gain considerable more muscle mass/weight from 4 to 5, and a little bit more after that as studies also show.  *This image is copyright of its original author So while the average lion will be around 170kg at 4, 185kg at 5 and 190kg at his peak, his height will hardly be any different. Maybe the River Pride male would grow taller a little bit more, but hardly to any significant degree and was certainly much taller than the average lioness, still ZZ towered over him like many lions don't come close of doing to lionesses. I think Mbiris might be taller than their fathers, though probably not as bulky.
@Mapokser not all individuals grow the same, some grow and develop sooner, some Iater.
I said they grow more slowly as they get older, yes, on average, most of "frame" growing is done to ~4 yrs, while mass they gain up to 6 yrs, when they start to enter absolute prime years. But i dont like this comparisons of prime males vs 3.5/4 yrs old, ok, they might not gain much in height anymore, but will get much more mass and mane, which brings alot for males to look overall bigger. If we could see current RP males and Mbiris together, size difference would not nearly look that big. I agree but the data you shared is averaged out so you will have some outliers. It wouldn't be that uncommon for some individuals to hit a grow spurt around 4 years old and suddenly gain a few inches in height overnight
The three River pride males (now down to only two) in their prime. They've grown a lot and turned into massive beasts
