Update from Cathan Moore Bush Maniac

No one saw this coming! Up until now, the Skorros have stayed clear from the vuyelas and even at the slightest hint of a roar, would turn and run in the opposite direction. However yesterday Rhasa and Sindzisa heard the roars of the single Vuyela who was mating with the Riverpride lioness and they

went in hot and with meaning - chasing the Vuyela male away and to the north. Sindzisa then started his turn mating with the Riverpride lioness. Last night after mating for almost an entire week, she had had enough and went to find the other two females from her pride but Sindzisa followed her - unbeknown to him, the lone Vuyela had regrouped with 3 of his brothers and the 4 were in the direction that Sindzisa and the Riverpride lioness was headed. Luckily for the skorro males, the 4 vuyelas roaring alerted them to the impressive coalitions presence and Sindzisa immediately stopped following the lioness and turned back south to regroup with his brother back on home territory.

Confrontation seems inevitable at this point but this was a lucky escape for Sindzisa.

This situation of Vuyelas vs Skorros reminds me of Nharhus vs Mbiris back in the day.

As @Potato said in other thread, Skorros and Myambulas might do the same what Mbiris and Myambulas did then, they forfeit their territory in Timbavati and moved east into free Kruger area (although we dont know what situation there is currently).

They spend ~ 2 years there until cubs/subs matured, eventually females returned back into old Timbavati territory once they came back into estrus and young females matured, and started mating with Nharhu males, who shortly after lost to Skorros.

Leaving their Timbavati territory would allow RP to fully return again in that area, under control of Vuyelas.

In theory this could work, but yea, who knows what will happen. If Skorros want to compete for RP females, they might be in trouble.

Any updates on Red Road? I looked a few pages back and didn’t see anything. Last I heard he was injured in another fight but that was several months ago. I’m assuming he’s recovered though since then

Guernsey male did not like being interrupted ( by young Avoca male) while eating with Avoca girls.
Both males are alone. Hopefully a possible coalition on horizon.

I hope they stay together, but this could make the young avoca continue in the pride and a direct dispute with the blackdam males
