Dont think thats snare, looks like water made that.

That line is very straight and uniform, in size and direction. I've personally not seen water have such an effect.

I doubt it is. If it was a snare. It would have slipped off a long time ago.

It doesn't seem to be in a spot where the lion itself would be unable to free itself from.Decomposition would also have losened it dramatically. Nor do we really see the dramatic skin damage that ussually happens.

Young Birmingham breakaway males killed a giraafe and was chased off by the Giraffe pride. The following day they visited the lodge and then moved south.
