There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Yeah, I think the latest number was that they control 5/7 adult lionesses, four of which have cubs now.

Black Dam youngster showing off his two personalities, one minute he looks like he is going to take over the world and the second frame is of him playing hide and seek, with @nikolas_vounnou tracker! Just shows you that sometimes these intimidating creatures are just cats

A morning spent with lions by Isambane Camp
https://www.instagram.com/p/Cfjljszq_Ti/
A young pride of 7, made up of three lionesses and four sub-adults, one being a beautiful young male. We came across these youngsters getting ready for a hunt. It was very interesting to watch as the sub-adults took the lead and the adults stayed back. It seemed like they were giving the youngsters the chance to practice their hunting skills.

We watched as they stalked a herd of impalas, and strategically chased them in the direction toward the other lions waiting for the ambush. Unfortunately one of them got a bit too excited and exposed herself too soon so the impalas managed to get away without losing any of their comrades.

Taking an 8 minute drink is impressive, I'd say he was parched.
