Tanda Tula update

Later in the week I popped out to see the Giraffe Pride who had been on the area below Plains Camp in the morning, and as darkness fell, the whole pride of lions moved onto the tar.  It was some sight to see 25 lions strewn out along about 100m of road making for the most pleasant of evening traffic jams!  The pride was reasonably cooperative this week and spent three days in and around the plains.  Further east, the Vuyela males were on a giraffe kill just off the tar road for a few days, and at the same time the River Pride lionesses were also found walking along the same road one evening.  Closer to Tanda Tula Safari Camp the five Birmingham Breakaway males were located with a buffalo kill deep into one of the blocks, and Scotch took his guests in on foot for an unforgettable experience of seeing wild lions on foot.  The week ended off with a Skorro male and a portion of the Mayambula Pride being found to the east of Safari Camp, as well as three members of the young River Pride.

After several weeks of no sightings, the Mongawane Males have re-emerged in the property of the Makanyi Lodge.  A property neighboring Shindzela to the north and closer to the Avoca Pride Territory so  Maybe something there has peaked their interest.

The Blonde Ross male fixes his gaze on us. We were watching the Birmingham Pride not too far away when andBeyond Guide Nick spotted this male lying further off with his own buffalo calf kill.

This photo was taken a while ago, and we have not seen this male in a few weeks now. The rains have limited our movements and we have reports of him being further north and west of our property. The guides and trackers are itching to see what the new developments in the lion dynamics are, but with the cyclone approaching we may just have to wait a bit longer!

Wao. BYM looks so good, very massive and his mane is bigger. In the video of @criollo2mil, I thought it was TYM the one walking because of the mane.

Two of my favorite lions, so glad they're in such a good condition.

I wonder if Tyson is with him. They only mention Fabio, but it is strange for the two of them to not be together, especially for "weeks"

They didn't said they seen Tyson either.

They are hanging further west lately, in Birmingham breakaway area.

"The rains have limited our movements" is why they did not seen him. Quite recently both Ross males were seen with Birmingham breakaway pride in Shindzela. Both Ross males are doing great or at least nothink at this point indicates it could be otherwise.
