There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Whereabouts of the rest of the pride was unknown if my understanding is correct. Guess we'll either see a full pride takeover eventually or perhaps another split with the three that were seen with them. Still haven't seen anything in regards to Mapoza, unfortunately.

Realistically he must be gone by now.. last sighting was at the end of June I believe.

If we see a takeover I hope the subadult males that were still with the pride survive. How many were there with the pride when Mapoza was still alive? I counted at least 5 in the video where young Avoca male was eating with them on the elephant carcass which led to the fight and young Avoca ran off.

Not too long after that altercation, 3 sons left the pride to start their nomad life and were seen in Manyeleti in a Tintswalo video, where they also ran into Nharu pride and Red Road male. The other sons were still believed to be with the pride. Hope they can survive a possible takeover by the Black Dams.

Shaka Mbiri also darted and marked, though he has a different shape of scar than his Mayambula sons:

At least one Birmingham female also has a different shaped scar than either Shaka's or Mayambula's:

I'd love to know if they were weighed like the H7 male was.

Dunno who shared it originally but thanks to @Ngonya for showing me this.

I would imagine it means they have been either inoculated for something, or perhaps have tested positive for something. To my knowledge nothing has been said, as to what and why they are doing this.

His mane is growing out nicely for sure! How old is he now (they still call him young male sometimes)?

Have not seen any updates on the cubs from his Monwana brakeaway lately, are all 4 of them still alive?

Masungulo Male hot on the trail of the Sark/Klasserie Male. According to the comments, the Sark Male is actually the son of the Masungulos.
