There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Yeah but isn't Osindile NOT an official name? Ist it one of those circumstances of a photographer or a safari person started calling him that?

There is at least ONE instance.   The guide on a WE live called him that.   He was apparently scolded for it and he’s refrained for using it again :).

It’s his “social media” name.

I don’t ever understand the commotion and how bent people get with names.    I mean is CASPER really a guide/ranger name?   Yet it seems widely adopted.

Anyways.   I digress.  :)
