There where 2 more, but 2 where not seen since for a year or so, they where quite young when they where ousted from the pride by Mapoza/Xikukutsu's, so yea.
Time is flying by pretty quickly and the lion dynamics are ever changing. I thought I remembered seeing a post about them fairly recently, but I guess that was a year ago.
How many Mapoza/Xikukutsu cubs have the Monwanas produced so far?
Timbavati update: Six of the seven Birmingham breakaway Males are back in our area again.
We found them this morning. Unfortunately the oldest one of the seven wasn't with them.
A Thornybush update: Guernsey and the Monwana young male (Trilogy son) were seen this afternoon. The limping Monwana male isn't with them, It's believed he is on his own way north.
All 4 BDYM were seen together this afternoon
A Timbavati update: The River pride females were seen in Klaserie with three young males (possibly their relatives). The River pride went into Klaserie 4 days ago.
A Timbavati update: The Makanyi Guides found the 6 Birmingham breakaway Males this morning in Combretum. We can unfortunately not drive there. That is very close to Thornybush. So they might pay Thornybush a visit soon.

Boabab Ridge found a Hyena carrying a male lions head. They're gonna investigate
"The most unusual sighting was photographed on our traverse this week!!!
Seeing a hyena carrying the head of a predator is one thing, but on closer inspection, it seems it is a male lion skull!!
We will be investigating further to hopefully find out, which male lion it is.
Please comment if you have further information, as our guides have reported only seeing four of the five Vuyela and the giraffe males have been seen on our property and traverse."
Exciting news with regards to the Mayambula Pride. On top of the 3 mothers and 11 cubs that already reside within the pride - we have confirmation of a 4th mother and possibly 5th aswell! We are unsure as to how many cubs are in these new litters but with the prospect of new additions to the pride; we are teaming with joy! Now we have to wait until they introduce them to the pride.

The Monwana/Thornybush male seen on 13th August at Siviti. He was seen recently with his partner, the Guernsey male both in excellent condition.

This is not the Giraffe male accompanying the limping Monwana is it?
I had thought about it but it is very difficult to say, in the last sight the Monwana male was alone I hope they manage to find out who it is but it will probably only be by eliminating who is seen or not, which could take a time if that's the case
