That just shows that wandering and sleeping around is a viable way to atleast produce some offspring. Its just a pity they by numbers alone chased any coalition that was protecting the pride and no new coalion took over during the pregnancy that would do the job for them..

So now unfortunatly these cubs dont have much of a chance in this chaos. Even if the Kambulas returned to become territorial, they would likely just kill them themselves

Yeah he was seen mating but probably no intentions of becoming territorial yet, all he now does is eat from the pride's kills and he can become a danger if cubs are born (from Kambula's?) in short term. I don't see it as a good opportunity for NK young male either, other than the possibility of becoming pride male of the pride he was born in? So it'd be best if the Monwana leaves and links up with his brothers, who are indeed now closer to him, that is good news. Speaking of his brothers, they have potential in Manyeleti, with the Mbiri pride being more or less vacant.

Lots of 'coulds' in here but curious what you guys think

I meant that the Nkuhuma male could go with the Monwana male and leave the pride. He will have to leave eventually, and probably sooner rather than later, so rather than leaving on his own he could now potentially leave with the Monwana male. There's no way these two young boys could become pride males of the Nkuhumas with males like the Mantimahles about.

Yea, but kinda weird that Mantimales dont push for Nkuhumas yet, they are pride without territorial males hanging in their territory pretty much.

Not sure if NKs are avoiding them or what, might be the case if 4 adults are not in estrus atm (are they pregnant?) and 3 younger ones not ready for mating yet.

Nkuhumas definitely avoid them, and this prolly started after Mantimhales started to bully Kambulas a lil. I think the whole pride ran off from Mantimhales before AE daughter started mating with them, but it’s always been believed they were the ones who beat her first before mating.

Mantimahles also ousted Kambulas from Imbali Pride, and by forfeit they were allowed to keep Nkuhumas, without any major pressure. I think if they can interact with the pride and force them to accept them, no doubt they will, males can never have enough females. I, personally, would like to see males who are solely focused on Nkuhumas, not coming and going all the time.

Trouble in southern Sabi Sands.

Reports that Nkuhlus have killed a lion.

There is footage but it’s difficult to see exactly what lion. Some seen it say it’s a male.

I hope more clarity comes soon

the supposed footage seems to be just the same scenario from last week when 4/5 brothers were on leftovers and chasing Snip Tail for it, which also took place on Lion Sands and Michael Nk do sometimes post old footage. I dont think those were lions remains so hopefully thats all a big misunderstanding. Even thought some are saying that a guide confirmed they killed and ate a dark maned male lion, but no idea who came up with that tbh... Lets wait and see i guess

Sorry to alarm anyone. At least it’s somewhat good that it’s only a false alarm.
