• One Plains Camp male lion mating with the Tsalala lioness on Londolozi Boundary.
• The Nkuhuma pride of lions consisting of five individuals feeding on a waterbuck at the Manyaleti Crossing.
  

Tuesday, 12 November 2024

• The Nkuhuma pride of lions consisting of five individuals stationary on Elephant Plains Driveway.
• One Kambula male lion mobile North West from Madash South. (wonder if this was K4)
  

Wednesday, 13 November 2024

• The Nkuhuma pride of lions consisting of five individuals feeding on a cape buffalo kill North of Pungwe Crossing.
  

Thursday, 14 November 2024

• The Nkuhuma pride of lions consisting of four lioness and one sub adult male mobile East from Horseshoe East.
  

Friday, 15 November 2024

• Nkuhuma Breakaways consisting of one sub adult male lion and one sub adult lioness feeding on a cape buffalo kill on Nyati Bamba.

We were just discussing him, recently. Not long after he began hanging with the Avoca Young Male, they both seemingly disappeared. We've not had any updates on either since. Reply

As its rather rare for an entire coalition to just disappear, they most likely just went of the tourist grid. 

I wouldn't consider him a turncoat though. Lions don't have the luxury of playing nurse. You either keep up or get left behind. 
The Southern black dam male couldn't keep up, so his brother had to leave him behind. Every other lion would have done the same. Reply

I would love to know his story, where he went, and what life was like in his little hiding spot, after having been gone for so long. Really glad he is back to where we can pick up, where we left off. He was Tsalala's first boyfriend, a lot of hope for the two of them, back then, but it was unreasonable, given the dynamics in Sabi Sands at that time, and they certainly haven't gotten any easier now, for a lone male. He is clearly a survivor, though. Reply
