There is a world somewhere between reality and fiction. Although ignored by many, it is very real and so are those living in it. This forum is about the natural world. Here, wild animals will be heard and respected. The forum offers a glimpse into an unknown world as well as a room with a view on the present and the future. Anyone able to speak on behalf of those living in the emerald forest and the deep blue sea is invited to join.

Cedric from WildEarth just announced that he’s going to be leaving which is a shame considering he was by far the best ranger for me, both in terms of his own personality and knowledge of lions, and lion dynamics as a whole. Very big loss for them and Sabi Sands as a whole, I’d hope he still stays visiting regularly.

Of course we'll allow that, he has been pivotal in bringing us direct information, for so long. Cedric will be sorely missed!

By far my favorite ranger as well, that's sad to see him leaving. Great sightings with him always, he is literally a magnet for lions and leopards. His love and excitement for animals can be felt through the screen. Hopefully he comes back as a permanent member one day.
