Very big loss for them and Sabi Sands as a whole, I’d hope he still stays visiting regularly.

Of course we'll allow that, he has been pivotal in bringing us direct information, for so long. Cedric will be sorely missed!

By far my favorite ranger as well, that's sad to see him leaving. Great sightings with him always, he is literally a magnet for lions and leopards. His love and excitement for animals can be felt through the screen. Hopefully he comes back as a permanent member one day.

Otthawa's spotted running from dad.  They don't look pregnant, but not great shots to tell.

Tumbela really needs to get out of the West for the best of him as PCM are staying more in the West. He could form a coalition with other male lions such as Nkuhuma and Khanya Talamati or with Floppy Ear Styx Male or with the Nkuhuma Young Male or the Nkuhuma Breakaway Male and he can even form a coalition with the Kruger Male and the Southern Avoca Male, as there are many nomads in Sabi Sands he can have many choices.

Also look at his condition in this video he really needs to join a coalition as coalition can really benefit him a lot specially when it comes to hunting for food and for security of his life as we all know in male lions' life being a lone male is harder and harsher for them.

It's a shame he was chased away from Mhangenis, he was doing well with them. Maybe mapogo grandson, little #10 Mhangeni cub would've been alive if Tumbela was with them at the time. The other injured cub is struggling to keep up as well.

I don't think Lionesses are scared of him anymore in his condition. Further more, he has no stakes in the survival of the cubs, only in keeping good relationships with the Ximhungwes aswell as those are also a potential pride he can get food from.
Its already rare for healthy male lions to intervene in pride conflicts. So most likely he would have just fled.

I think he is also a bit to far gone to join a coalition right now.
In this condition I doubt any potential partner would find any reason to keep him around. So for now its best for him to keep his head low and hope this drop in condition too will pass like it has before.

One of the better hunting coalitions in Sabi Sands, only capable ones at rivalling the K4

Little Amber back mating with the light/ginger-maned Mantimahtle male on WildEarth this morning. It's such a shame, and I feel like if the Kambula males had mated with her (they kept rejecting her for some reason), she wouldn't have gone off to find other males.
