1/2 BDM's with 8 members of the Nkuhuma Pride. In the comment section of the post the lodge replied to a comment in regards to Mohawk and his sons and stated that they were last seen a week ago following a buffalo herd into KNP. Could be new beginnings for both the pride and Mohawk/4 sons.

You’d think a KNP guide would see 5 new male lions in their area and report on it, maybe they are just staying very lowkey.

The two of the ximhungwe cubs are confirmed to be girls and the younger one is a boy 
Mohawk and his sons moving into Kruger is probably the best for them. Things have been getting crowded in Sabi Sands so losing some male lions wouldnt hurt and the pride needs to move on to new males.
The Tsalala pride needs much more numbers fast to secure a proper territory to raise cubs in. But the only real option she has right now to raise the numbers is raise some daughters, or the pride is destined for extinction. Besides, ultimately she has her own urges to satisfy which dont conviniently wait for better times. Unless the cub were to perish, the cub is very likely the last litter Ximhungwe will give birth to. Marking the end of the Ximhungwe bloodline. But her legacy will live on in the lessons she will teach Gingerellas cubs.

S8 has suffered what guides suspect is a bite from a snake. Or some type of situation that’s affecting his neurological system.
Early today, he was found immobile and acting disoriented. He’s looking a bit emanciated and this could have happened a few days ago or so and he’s fighting as best he can. He was just shown live on WilEarth right now and images will spread and be shared soon. He is moving but barely. Shown frothing at the mouth and drooling. also evident he’s breathing quite laboral y. Here are some snapshots of his condition which is pretty sad. |
