Over the last couple of months, the two unknown Kruger male lions have roamed much of the Southern Sabi Sand.
They have shown that they cover a lot of ground very quickly - most likely in a bid to establish their territory and it seems as though they've claimed the southern section for themselves, for now...
With the history and the behaviour they have displayed in the last two to three months, they have been fittingly named the Gajima Males, a Shangaan word meaning 'running'.

I assume the third male that got separated in the clash with the N'was, is presumed gone at this point? I don't believe he's been seen since. If so, my guess would be he was possibly caught by the other N'was who were quick to respond to the trouble.

That’s the prevailing opinion since nothing seen of him since.

Based of MalaMala rangers story, he should not be caught by Ndhzengas that event, as story goes, that Amahle and Eorenji where already chasing 2 males, when they saw that 3rd male alongside injured Wide-Nose, then Wide-Nose rejoined Gore and young male was not see after, WN and Gore couldnt kill him as WN was badly injured.
Also, there was no new visiable fighting marks on any other Ndhzengas except Wide-Nose, who was caught, but it doesnt have to be, if 3 males caught him 1 male cant do much damage back.
Maybe rangers didn't see something that happened, or they caught 3rd male later on, we will never know.

He did lose them in a fight.
It would have been far to dangerous for him to go out searching for them in enemy territory. Especially if he doesn't even know whether or not they are alive.

Lion sands borders Kirksmans camp, so depending on which part of the properties they're on, they can be anything from right beside each other to like 10km apart. They did go into Southern Avoca territory recently.

Except SP female, they have no accessible females/prides on their territory, as Styx pride recognize the danger staying south, and smartly now hang further north around Selati Camp, in domain of Ndhzengas.
So its excepted that Gijimas will move a lot in search for accessible females, will they challenge Ndhzengas again or S. Avocas, or just wait for some female/prides to come in the area (like Ndhzengas did with Styx's when they establish themselves) its yet to be seen.

"A large herd of buffalo crossed into our reserve from the Kruger National Park with which we share our southern border. While following up on the herd we found tracks of two male lions and a female lion over the tracks of the buffalo indicating the lions were following the buffalo. We were then alerted to the constant alarm calls from a large troop of Chacma baboons. We followed the calls and below the tree they were in, were the two Gijima males with the Southern Pride female.
Lions will follow a large herd of buffalo in pursuit of a meal. The clash between lion and buffalo is one of the ultimate clashes in the bush with neither predator nor prey can be certain of the outcome."
I assume that the female is Southern Pride lioness
