Last year Nhena was seen running at fast speed after the Styx male. I think he could keep up with Nkuhuma male if he had to. Surely his overall condition and capacity to travel has not deterioated so much since then that he couldnt keep up with the Nukuhuma male. It's not like he's restricted like Hairy Belly was 1-2 years before he died. His health and condition is still really good.

6th cub went missing when Plains Camp males invaded two weeks ago I think it was.
It doesn't matter anyway, even if cubs survive until 2 years old they will have to leave since their mother will mate with some other male.

Young male through probably would have to leave indeed.
An interesting time ahead with the Lions in the Western Sector.
The Othawa Pride have been dodging 2 new coalitions coming in both from the North and South East. A few nights ago the lion activity around the lodge was intense. We listened to roaring lions the whole night and the next morning was a huge challenge to track the lions. We followed tracks of 3 males running and chasing each other all the way down to the South. Finally we caught up with the Birmingham and Nkuhuma males.
